Peer Review Process

The adopted IJMS reviewing process is double-blind at minimum of assigning two domain experts as reviewers per each submission. IJMS editorial committee takes the responsibility of maintaining an up-to-date, knowledgeable and qualified pool of reviewers in order to meet needs and final quality of receiving submissions. IJMS submission and review processes are automated with the help of deployed Open Journal Systems as per http://journals.sjp.ac.lk/index.php/ijms/user. However in order to cater to requests for manual submission and reviewing processes, currently both automated and manual Journal Management Systems are in place. Further, the editorial board as well as assigned editors of IJMS are also expected to comply with COPE Guidelines (mainly the "Short Guide to Ethical Editing" and the "Peer Review Guidelines").
